What is Numelixa?
Numelixa is a virtual-number and SMS verification platform with wallet billing, orders, an Android app and a developer API.
Which country ID should I use?
Use the country ID returned by Numelixa. For the United States, the production API uses usa.
How do I purchase through the API?
Create a production API key, check live stock, then POST an order with country, service and optional operator.
Why can an order become unavailable?
Inventory and prices are live and can change between requests. The API validates the current availability immediately before purchase.
How do notifications work?
The Android app registers an FCM device token. The token is linked to the signed-in Numelixa account and system/admin alerts are sent to registered devices.
Do I need Gmail for push notifications?
No. Push delivery is device-based, not Gmail-based. An account with or without an email address can receive push notifications when a registered Android device has notifications enabled.
What happens if I disable notifications?
The Android app requires notification permission. If permission is disabled in Android settings, the app will close until notification permission is restored.
Where should I keep my API key?
Only on a trusted backend. Never expose it in browser code, APKs, GitHub repositories or screenshots.
